The Department of Neurosurgery is a growing program with an excellent foundation.  We are engaged in cutting-edge clinical trials in movement disorders and neuro-oncology.  Additionally, we have an exceptional team of doctors with expertise in Skull Base, Cerebrovascular/Stroke, Pediatric Neurosurgery, Spine and Functional Neurosurgery, all of whom are committed to providing the highest standard of neurosurgical care and support to patients and their families.

Going forward, the goal is to continue to elevate this department and to enable an environment that provides the best possible care for patients with all types of neurosurgical conditions.  The first part of this plan is to hire more faculty and increase the number of physicians sub-specialized within specific areas of neurosurgery.  This will enable each faculty member to focus on their unique expertise and deliver exceptional results.

In the Department of Neurosurgery, we are committed to improving the lives of our patients through clinical care, research and training.  We aim to be instrumental in developing the next generation of practitioners who will carry on the mission of driving innovation and improving neurosurgical care.
