Academic Professional Bio: 

Allan Hamilton, MD, FACS is a Regents Professor of Surgery and a full Professor with Tenure in the Department of Neurosurgery. He also holds professorships at the University of Arizona in Radiation Oncology, Psychology, and Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Dr. Hamilton is a board-certified neurosurgeon who specializes in the issues of glioma resection and the genomics of malignant brain tumors. He has had a life-long interest in the application of computer technologies to enhance surgical care and reduce avoidable medical adverse events (MAEs) and is the Executive Director of the Arizona Simulation Technology and Education Center (ASTEC) for the University of Arizona.
