Sara Perotti, ACNP-BC, MSN, NREMPT-P, NRCME, is a neurosurgery nurse practitioner for the Division of Neurosurgery at University of Arizona Banner Medical Center. Sara is also a nationally and state-registered certified emergency paramedic since 1997 and serves as the executive director of the Southeastern Arizona Emergency Medical Services (SAEMS) Council.

Sara has more than 20 years of experience in emergency medicine and served 15 years as an air medical rescue helicopter flight nurse. She was deployed as the strike team leader on multiple FEMA national disaster and mass casualty responses. She also served as a vice president of the largest emergency medical helicopter transport operator in the United States. She is licensed as a National Registry Certified Medical Examiner (NRCME) by the United States Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). She is also certified by the Association of Air Medical Services as a Certified Transport Executive (CMTE).

Sara earned her master's degree at Saint Louis University, and her post-master's education includes board certifications as an acute/critical care nurse practitioner and as an emergency nurse practitioner. She is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Sara was appointed by Arizona governor Jan Brewer to the Arizona Emergency Medical Services Council and continues to serve the State of Arizona in this appointed goverment position. She is also very involved in community non-profit service as the immediate past president of the board of directors of the Rialto Theater Foundation and serves on the board of trustees of the Greater Tucson Fire Foundation. She also holds the position of executive director of the Southeastern Emergency Medical Services Council, which focuses its attention on the provision of emergency medical services in seven Arizona counties. Sara also owns and operates two private medical practices.
